THE MMTM FILM FESTIVAL PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO:

  • Breathe life into a new generation of filmmakers and entertainment industry professionals
  • Ensure that financial obstacles never get in the way of a student participating in the MMTM project
  • Foster inclusion and diversity by enfranchising populations such as Title I, special needs, female and BIPOC students
  • Offset the negative impact of decreased arts education funding for our K-16 schools
  • Create a critical mass of socially conscious, capable filmmakers who can express themselves through the hometown art of movie making
  • Celebrate the work of the MMTM participants through a red-carpet, culminating juried film festival at the Soraya Performing Arts Center on the CSUN campus
  • Expand student’s film-making capacity by providing FREE educational content on our website
